Sometimes TI will send you a couple of parts for evaluation purposes.   I have used this facility when I needed some MAT 02 to make some mic amps in the past.  Probably worth a try if you only need a couple.  Just pretend you are designing something Wink

Try the Analog Devices SSM2212, but you'll need an SMT adapter:

Used these in JH110 playback amps with success.

I have had good success with MAT02 direct improved replacement for the LM394. MAT12 replaces the MAT02 so either should work well. You might be able to find the MAT02 at a lower cost.

Maybe I went overboard on all the parts, but every preamp has the identical Muse recap with bypass caps also. Main goal was to have every channel sound exactly the same. All the channels and eq received the same as well. Originally there was a variety of parts and caps. Plus new opamps.

Old post but heck why not!
