HI Everyone

its been a while...more than a year since I switched on the 636. The techie helping me messed up when he recapped the three master channels viz no sound coming out the 2mix. Ive managed to get someone else to look at the problem . He soerted out the three channels and now wants to look at the master and monitor fader packs.

There is no schematics in the manual I have....does anyone know where I can get the schematics?

Will keep updates on the progress.

Have you got an extender board? The 600 is very difficult without one.
What schematics are you missing?

Changing caps...................how hard can it be!?

Is your console automated or a manual one?
More later.

Hi

I dont have an extender board...where can I get one?

Its a manual console, no automation . Its a 636, built in 1986 an has a SONY badge on it.

The schematics we missing are the ones for the Master and the C/S faders.

Can someone please help in this regard.

Thanks

Have ya tried the old, take all the channel strips out and just inject a signal or you're iPod into the 2 mix in the patchbay to see if the masters are working alone?

It might be the classic one strip has the solo tantalum blown and is tripping the console into solo mode.

Happened to me.
